In this section I'll look at some of the problems faced by the user trying to use a mobile phone in non-standard situations such as Caravans, Boats, Sheds, Canal Boats, Houses where there is a poor signal etc.

Generally the problems fall into three areas, power supplies, physical mounting and antennae.  Not all may be relevant to any particular problem, if you want to improve the signal in a house for example all you might be interested in is a better aerial.  A canal boat user using the phone as their primary means of communication might need mountings, power and antenna.
